Scope's out cooling, not a cloud in sight and none forecast and no moon.

Can't believe it ........beside myself with expectation.

This will probably be one of a handful of clear nights this Winter.

Was going to go to St Andrews where they're doing a Stargazing Live event but i think I'll just have a quiet evening with the scope.

Too good to miss.

The sky above the Glasgow area is looking good and Jupiter is lovely and bright. Even with unadjusted eyes there are lots of little points of light within view. Hopefully the clouds will stay away for the night.

I managed to get out tonight but only for an hour. Happy with an hour though considering I woke up to thick fog this morning.

Considering the bad patch that most people are going through regarding poor weather, we all must really be due a really good spell. Let's hope that's sometime soon!
