.....And I've never done a mosaic before....what a chore! Much respect to you guys that churn these out week on week, it about drove me mad.

Anyroad, C1100 EdgeHD and Atik 428ex, ha filter, single exposures, I think it ended up around 28 frames, but I got really mixed up with it

Should probably get round to doing one of these properly, but for now this quickie will have to do.

Tim, you should do more Luna image`s, if they are going to be up to this standard. Really sharp image, well constructed and lovely colour, your C11 is capable of some very high res lunar work with a barlow

Thanks all. I probably should get more planetary and lunar images from the C1100, it's just that I dont own a camera for such images really. For the image above I just took 10 frames of each section then picked what seemed to be the sharpest from them. Probably would have gotten a smoother result by stacking them, but at 5.3mb each I didn't fancy it

I am going to try some EP projection tonight with my video camera and see how that turns out, assuming we do get some clear patches.

You could try putting the 350D on the back of the scope and just making a two-panel mosaic? I think it should fit in two panels.

Hmm, yes, could try this tonight actually. I am waiting on a few new bits for the scope so am playing around with things I wouldn't normally do. Heck, I even have a webcam somewhere
