B+Q Tool box for Astro Storage

Found a great little box in B+Q for £9.98 for storing my ST80 guidescope. Will also take some other bits as well such as filters, Dew Tape etc in the partitions and insert. For foam going to pond center to get some of the pond pump filter foam.

Wish I could find something for my NEQ6 mount head. I can't. So will make something out of wood to custom fit. Shouldn't be too hard.

A lot of people convert them into home made power tanks.

I have a two tiered one where my 38ah battery sits in the bottom tier, and all my other bits & bobs sit in the top

I ordered some foam from efoam.co.uk for my OTA case. Very reasonable prices and quick delivery. They also have an 0800 freephone number too!

Its 20" long, 7" wide at the bottom, 8" deep if you remove the tray from inside. I bought one myself for a power distribution box so I can install all the sockets for scope, camera, dewstraps etc and plug it in to the power supply in the shed.
