This looks interesting, great for time lapses etc.. Not difficult to make your own I know but it looks very neat with a 3" dome.

Yes, it does look nice - but expensive for what you get.

On a practical level, I'd advise mounting something like this in a position where it's easy to remove any bird-poop that may accumulate. While a heater can prevent dewing-up, I've never seen an all-sky camera that incorporated a windscreen wiper. :laugh:
