Anyone see a fireball this evening (10th)?

It just flared up right where I happened to be looking in the sky at about 10:53pm, heading east to west between Cetus and the bottom of Pisces. Very long orange tail and an oval body that was quite dark in the centre but with a bright orange halo darkening towards the edge.

Doh. Packed up and went home at 10:45! Saw 4 fairly good meteors though in an hour.

No, only saw one faint meteor flash through Orions belt at about 10.30pm when I was lining up the scope.

Just been out to check the scope and had a few minutes with gemini. I saw 2 meteors within a minute of each other travelling from Gemini to Orion. it could be a good show later this week if the weather holds.

Seen a couple of good fireballs over the past 24 hours including one yesterday evening flying through Gemini to Perseus direction and another this morning when I looked out the window coming from above the house down towards Saturn

I saw quite a few last night, and one that was quite possibly as bright as Jupiter the previous night, but this one was really out of the ordinary.

Any idea what time you saw yours last night? Would be interesting to know if there are quite a few or if we just saw the same one.

Mine was probably around 10:15pm

Definitely not the same one then. I wonder if this is a precursor to some exciting Geminids? Or perhaps the Triffids are invading

i saw an orange one too slightly earlier around 1015ish, the one i just caught appeared to be single meteorite that fell to earth towards the east
