Interesting Venus fact

Another odd thing about Venus:

A day is longer than a year since the orbital period around the sun is 224.7 days but the period of rotation is 243.01 days. It also rotates "retrograde"

But after 243.01 days, the revolution of the planet around the sun would cause the sun to be away from the zenith, by about 30 degrees. So, it would either already have passed overhead, or be waiting to cover that angular distance. The same thing happens here, but the difference is only 4 minutes per day.

I can't work it out. Not clever enough.
