how to balance a GSO RC 6"

im having quite the task balancing this thing its so heavy towards the mirror end with the DSLR hanging of the back and a finer guider how do you guys balance yours is there anyhing i can buy to help like a bigger dovetail ???

i have the dew shield just got a telrad so hoping this will do the trick if not counter weight system >>?

what reducer do you use?

TS sell one for about 190 euros that brings it down from f/9 to f/6, I was looking at this the other day when I was considering buying the 6" RC that was for sale on here recently.

I use the Astro Physics CCDT67. It works ok, but I found that I struggled with ghost irises - reflections, so it stays in a drawer for now. I need to give it another go one day.

Hi Jessun. Check my post on the 10" GSO RC review. After lots of poking around with them through my reseller (in France), GSO recognized there was a flaw in the primary mirror baffle construction. they have redesigned it. It's some sort of extension you screw on the primary baffle. Since I got my hands on the device, no more reflection problems with my RC...
