White light Sun, 14th October

Very pleasant, clear and bright morning here, if cold (there was quite a decent frost last night) and whilst the seeing wasn't quite up to last night's standards it was still pretty good.

Shot 120 frames of 1/1000th @ ISO100 with the 450D and Mak, ran them through PIPP and into Registax v6 which stacked 78 of them at 97% quality without batting an eyelid.

Interesting, the way we've suddenly got a couple of very broken up active regions. I wonder if the pattern will continue for a while?
