Star party tonite

Hi all:

Four of us will be setting up our scopes this afternoon along the lake (Lac la Ronge) Supposed to be clear tonight, and there will be a wiener roast, slide show, etc. for the public. Hoping to catch the moon, Jupiter and M31, etc. We are hoping to set up an astronomy club here...as there appears to be a lot of interest. Wish us luck!

Thanks folks.....it's a balmy 8 degrees now and evening's forecast is 9 degrees Gets fairly close to freezing in the wee hours
