north american - second process

hi all.

as the processing journey could be the harderst i had a second play with my first go at the North American (10 Subs at 340 secs ISO 1600.) my initial attempt at this i posted earlier in the Discussion forum, but i would appreicate any comments on colour etc on this one as i tried to spend a bit more time to bring out some of the fainter areas without adding too much noise. (especailly as i really dont know what i am doing is CS )

I haven't the experience to comment on the colour but I can say it's a super image

Really nice image. I would say its comparable of many of the images of the North American i have seen. Was that taken with the unmodded 1100d?

Yes it was taken at the weekend with standard 1100d with the ED80 on my first guide attempt (thanks to Steppenwolf for pushing me there) unfortunately id didnt get any flats bias dark etc so it is probably covered in noise (if you can find it in all those stars )

Unmodded 1100d, no flats, darks, bias, wow i am suitably impressed. Should be proud of that one.

Thats a very lovely image of a great target. The colour looks just like most images i have ever seen of it before.

Thank paul, other than steppenwolfs I hadn't spent time studying. I may stick to red nebula for a couple of sessions
