Now thats rather impressive.... Did you get more than one shot, if so i would love to see the finished image when you get round to it, i recon it will be promising

i usually tend not to stack nebula type deep sky objects given that registax unfailingly crashes and deepskystacker leaches every bit of colour out of them never to be seen again (i remember the mess it made of my Orion Nebula frames). Though i did manage to persuade it to keep some colour in my ring nebula shots.

Nice shot, ESP for a single exposure. I found with DSS I have to turn all the luminance settings to the left (off I guess) this seemed to help massively with M13. With the default settings I found all the colour was lost, but with luminance settings all the way to the left all the colour came back :hello2:, maybe worth a try.

Nice shot. Registax won't handle this sort of image properly as you cannot calibrate the image files. The usual cause of losing colour in DSS is not putting it back again, are you adjusting the saturation slider in DSS after stacking?
