Welcome from me too, If you support Southend, do you live in the area if so you may be just up the road from me.

My 1st scope was the 130, great for viewing,

First of all welcome to SGL!!!!!!!

Well ive got the 114SLT and seen most things in the night sky! Its great little scope and very portable which is a great advantage as a begginer! Ive only been doing this hobby since the beggining of march! The only extras ive bought are below!

Yeah Luke that power supply will be great, at least you wount be tied to a 240v supply, if there is somewhere nice and dark AND safe near you then get the scope out there and see the differance under a dark sky........... :D.

I have the Celestron 7AH PowerTank... but (sorry Steve) I prefer the Maplin 17AH (for the same price)... I have two of these, never run out of power for scope or multiple dew heaters.

i went ahead and bought that revelation eyepiece set, you sold it to me! so cheers mate!

i'll have to look into Baader 40mm Super Sky Surfer V, sounds good but not sure what it does?
