Pete, you are the man for these lunar shots. That's as good as anything Collins got from the command module of Apollo11.

That C14 puts you in lunar orbit . At the resolution of this mosaic, have you calculated how many images you would need to cover the whole of the earth facing disc of the of the moon.? Including the bits presented through libration. :(

Some project that would be.

If you look closely at the "bump" along the northern edge of the southern crater, you can see the black Obelisk from Kubrik's 2001:A Space Odyssey! Look, see? Riiiight over there...

Thanks for all the great comments. Really makes it worth not having any sleep!

Here's an update to the original image showing a comparison between the 4th and 5th of August. The result from the 5th is marginally sharper than that from the 4th. Both images are ~60% of original size.
