First PST, First Light, First image, First post...

Hi all,

Received my PST 40 last night and had about 30 minutes of imaging time tonight after work. I must say, I'm impressed with this little scope. Images taken with a Flea3 and Orion 2x shorty barlow. The scope was mounted on a tripod so the captures are only 10 seconds. I need to get the PST piggybacked and take some guided shots next and play with the tuning.

Please, any imaging advice is welcome as I'm new to the PST and Ha imaging.

Is it possible to get a full disk image using a Flea3? I was thinking an eyepiece focal reducer?

Wonderful first try, excellent detail, welcome to the PST club you are going to love it

I get a full disc shot with my DMK camera by attaching a short nosepiece which is shoulderless. It is then very easy to reach focus and gives a full disc. I am not sure how big the flea3 chip is though and whether that fix would work.
