Something I've noticed over the past couple of years.

I have not been doing astronomy very long, but I have noticed often that if it is clear in the daytime, it is cloudy at night, and if it is cloudy in the day it is clear sometime during the night time, I've always wondered about why that is?

Hi Manok, not sure about your weather, but you should try living in the UK. If its cloudy during the day it tends to be cloudy at night and when its a cloudy night we tend to get cloudy days.

You missed if it is clear during the day it is cloudy at night too :hello2:

or... if you can't see any stars it's because it's cloudy, and if you can see some stars it's because it's about to get cloudy.

which is all a way of saying i have no idea about your question. sorry...

SamAndrew your not wrong there haha. I'll never forget the 5th/6th of April of this year. It was perfect weather, shame about the moon but the skies were clear. After imaging Saturn for the first time I went to look at it...while dismantling the webcam and turning off the laptop I looked up and saw an army of clouds covering the sky. Typical :S
