Its a very nice shot but what a sad reflection on our hobby that the weather conditions are so bad that we are resorting to daytime astronomy images!! There is something rather beautiful about a whitish Moon against a blue backdrop though - nicely taken.

Not tried that yet with a daytime moon....

Had a go but the image was taken through sunset light, low in the atmosphere

and the moon is showing mainly reflected yellow/orange light.

Pretty though 8)
