PST and Baader zoom

Can anyone confirm if a Baader zoom is a good match with a PST.

I have a few Hyperions and BGOs but wonder if the ability to quicky zoom into features would be useful to have.

Lot of people use the zooms with the PST and are very happy with that.

I don't personally as I don't have a zoom. But I use an 18mm BGO which is very, very nice. Just wish I could get my hands on a 12.5mm BGO for it and for my 180 Mak.

Yes the Hyperion zoom is a good addition for the PST not only visually but with a T adapter it's good for dslr photography as well.

And yes I have PST & Hyperion Zoom

I found the Baader zoom did work well with the PST but it is rather big and heavy.

The Telescope Service 7.2 to 21.5 Planetary HR zoom is half the size and weight and works just as well as the Baader in the PST and is cheaper (£123.00 delivered). It's the same as the Lunt Solar zoom.
