This is probably a dumb question, but do the struts pack away into the travel dob case too? (I guess I mean are they modular and screw together.)

Im struggling to picture how else they'd work.

and yes they are modular. 3 pieces per 2 legged strut. 1 V piece and 1 extension to each leg of the V, if that makes sense.

Ahh, I getcha. I couldn't see where in the box they would fit. And the answer is, they don't. Still, thats an awfully cute package isn't it?

It is, and with a backpack, the rods are not much trouble (though once it is for sale on the site again he'll put more info about pack size etc. there).

Probably just buying one used or paying much more --- at least the 10" travel version is not for sale anymore until he has unified a few production steps (according to an email) to make things faster/easier to produce (that's my guess).

So probably only from someone who already received theirs.
