Any ideas on why I have odd shaped stars?

This is a unedited 30 second shot at sidereal rate on my EQ5 and 200P. Have you any ideas why the stars on the outside edges are a weird shape at all? I polar aligned the mount properly.

As John said, Coma there is a gadget to correct this....atm on backorder.

As already stated, this is coma, quite typical when using a reflector but the Baader MPCC will eliminate this very nicely on your 'scope and give you an extra 10mm of inwards focus travel.

A very nice image though.

Nice pic Paul. What ISO setting did you use?

I have the same thing with my set up. It's fixed with a coma corrector. It's really worth getting and makes a big difference to the final image.

Coma get it with the sc9.25 reducer will sort it,it did me
