  1. I purchased a used Skywatcher 250PX Flextube and I have just noticed a chip on the edge of the secondary mirror. Can anyone tell me if this will be a problem when observing? Presumably the white substance on the back of the mirror is what holds it on to the holder? Thanks in advance.
  2. He needs a lesson in the use of capitals
  3. I don't think you can use a charger. It would have to be a dc power supply.
  4. http://www.telescopehouse.com/acatalog/Revelation-16---f-4.5-M-CRF-Truss-Dobsonian--Black-.html Mmmmm
  5. EQ5 Synscan used and a ED80 would be a good bet. Enough mount for the ED80, I've never had a problem.
  6. I just bought a Celestron equivalent for my son for £35 including RA drive, turn left a orion and a cambridge star atlas
  7. You go on singletrackworld then! As pointed out above, a dobsonian offers lots of view for little cash.
  8. Thanks Wayne, that's a big help. I'll try again next week.
  9. At least mine still works I suppose
