Next clear skies?

Snow forecasted over the weekend for the north west of England and Scotland not getting my hopes up...

yep Saturday looks good in the north anyhoo. I think an outing to the dark sky site is on the cards.

If I want to find out if there maybe clear skies in the coming night I use the following link, Met Office: British Isles: Infrared satellite imagery. It takes you to the met offices infra-red satellite most recent images. I click through the last few and then try and gage if the cloud will either clear, stay covered or otherwise. I also key my post code in the forecast page as well.

Hoping for a bit of the clear stuff tonight, it might be a little breezy but its been weeks since my last session so I'll take anything!

It looks quite promising for tonight round where I live - Warwick-Leamington Spa area.
