you have a choice at that price

First Light Optics - Skywatcher Explorer 130P SynScan AZ GOTO

First Light Optics - Skywatcher Skyliner 200P Dobsonian

the choice is finding the object but not being able to see them or having to search then being able to see them. neither mount is any good for imaging except for webcamming. If portability or storage isn't an issue the 200p is a very much better scope.

It's a great first scope, but you won't be able to connect (and focus) a DSLR to it.

The 130P does seem to have an issue with focus with a DSLR. Some people say that adding a 2X barlow helps. Other says a low profile focuser.

I'm amazed that Skywatcher have not addressed this issue on a scope that is clearly one of their best sellers.
