Couldn't resist grabbing a capture of tonights crescent moon, even if it was very windy! Taken with 70mm frac @ f12 DMK31, 4 pane mosaic assembled in IMerge.

A lovely capture Mark.

I saw this crescent whilst walking the dog this evening.

For about 30 seconds, then the rain started, and it has poured down ever since. We have had gale force winds all day.

I've never experienced a more miserable year for wind and rain up here. I would happily move to the moon. No wind, no rain.

Just been watching Wallis and Gromit, plenty of cheese though .

Very nice. I like the gradients from dark and shadows to bright. Makes it clear that the sun is shining on it, and we are viewing it from the "side".

That is a very nice image, Mark. I only wish more people were aware that it does not take a gigantic telescope to see the Moon vey clearly.
