Is well beyond what I would pay for a scope (think of the Power Kite kit that kind of money would get you!) have there been any sales in the UK yet? Anyone tempted?

The scopes look very nice, and I really WANT them to perform well, I really do. But its a lot of money to fork out on a "maybe".

If you have that type of money as a comparison, a brand new still boxed unused TEC 140 is for sale on ABS, the asking price is now down to £4000 and it still looks as if there are no takers, of the two refractors I know which one I would have, the TEC 140 is legendary in its quality of use and performance, but way outside my empty pockets

I can't believe that TEC has not sold yet & very tempted by it, but not just now though...

Someone needs to buy that darned TEC. They are just outstanding. I bought mine for a tad less than that but it had been used, though you couldn't tell, quite literally. If it hasn't sold it is hard to see huge numbers of big premium apo sales for SW either.

Haven't seen the AN review but I have met three other TECs besides mine.
