I bought a pair this afternoon, along with a ski jacket (£24.99) and Ski gloves (4.99). I should be as warm as toast when astro-imaging out in the field now and not too out of pocket either!

That merino thermal underwear in Aldi is really good gear and a huge bargain at that price too. If you buy it in a ski shop its twice the price. I got some last year for a skiing trip. Good kit.

I got some ski salopettes from Mountain Warehouse in March - £15.00 as they were old ski stock. Excellent at keeping me warm!!

Yes- it's a good idea to buy discounted ski wear & winter wear in the spring sales- you'll pay top dollar at this time of year.
