Having another go

Forgive me if I have failed again to post an image here I am a bit dim sometimes :D.

Certainly no masterpiece but I was curious to see what I would get by having a go at this pair. I was keen to try something that was a fair distance away.

This is NGC2276 (spiral) and NGC2300 (the fuzzy to the left) they are about 100 million lyrs so quite a distance and I am relatively pleased with the result. Especially having captured a few other faint objects....

It is 30x2min unguided with unmodded 1000d + 20 darks.

Cropped to about 20%

(within the glow of Lincoln Cathedrals stoplights)

Maybe I should just stick to Cabinet Making .

Thank you all.

Steve, it is taken using 250mm f4.8 newt.

I suppose I said relatively because I was going for 60x2mins and had to call it a night for an unexpected reason and as I am new to this I am left wondering how it could have turned out. I am chuffed to little mint balls as you put it ;) and it thrills me to pieces that this is my image. I have plenty of moments with it that do my head in because I am so poor with techno stuff but it is a great hobby. I hope your ventures with the imaging give you much fun..
