Canon 1000D on an HEQ 5. 6 x 4 min subs. Standard 18 - 55mm lens at about 50mm. Just make out the veil at the bottom of the image. and one or two stars !!!!, Trevor

lovely focus very impressive pic:) I've given wide field a shot with my 18-55 lens, I would have thought that you focus at inifinity, didn't quite work, the dew didn't help

Very nice. Just got myself an eq1 with motor to do the same thing. Was going to give it a go last night but neighbour had big halogen light on!

Any tips you can give - I have 550 d and same lens (although hoping to ge the nifty fifty for Chrimbo)?
