captured this image in fairly good seeing the other night with my c9.25, advice & comments welcome.

Thats come out really good focus and color seem to be sweet and you have captured quite a lot of detail , was the raw image fairly dark ? i ask just because i can see slight ringing at the edges which in my experiance ( which is only a few years i might add ) is normally down to the gain being too low when recording the avi's , all the same well done its a fine result .

you hit it on the nail, i tend to go as low as i can with the gain

without losing any detail, but someetimes comes back to haunt

you in processing.

However ive also had probs with a higher gain settings, all in all

its achieving the right ballance.

Capture sharpcap, processing registax 5.1 & gimp

Never keep exact settings because i dont no if ive ever used the same twice, but i tend not to vary the important settings much. eg.

Gain slightly less than half way, Exposure fairly high.

Max 1800 frames at 10fps three minute run, im a creature of habit and mainly stick to the above especially for jupe.

Great shot Simon...now I will have to aspire to that. I too like my 9.25sct. Somehow I always seem to end up with darker over saturated images(?) Usually I use y800 codec.
