IC1396 in Ha

First I want to say hello to all as it is my first post.

I managed to capture well know object IC1396 in Ha.

17x900s, FLI ML8300 + SV90T+0.8x, all on iEQ45 mount.

As the others have said, that is a fine entrance! Nicely balanced dynamic range, tight focus, good guiding. You could get the other half of the main nebula as a mosaic in excellent resolution...

I'm using an IEQ45 at the moment as well. I wonder what guide settings you use? I run at 0.5x siderreal and haven't tried the PEC training yet.

I have some OIII and SII data but need to learn more narrowband processing.

Olly, I too run IEQ45 at 0.5x siderreal. I used PEC last night but without success. I'm using PHD at the moment and I don't change settings after calibration so basicly they are default. I'm using OAG and I belive that help even with my short focal lenght (480mm).
