NGC457 - The Owl Cluster (take 2)

After a few weeks of pulling my hair out over flats and the fact they didn`t seem to remove vignetting and other anomalies in my images, I finally managed to get some great advice on these forums explaingin that using a laptop screen to take the flats would possibly help. Well taking that information on board I took another crack at the Owl Cluster in Cassiopeia last night and the flat actually worked at last!*

So cheers to the guys who took their time to answer my calls for help - cant wait to revisit some other DSOs that have been rendered dreadfully due to poor flats.

Nice image,

Stars are sharp with natural colour and as said above cant see any gradients from LP.

The flats seem to be working perfectly! Well done on your perseverance.This imaging lark is enough to send you over the edge but when it all comes together for one night you manage a little gem like this!
