Noctilucent clouds last night

Hi guys.

Thought I'd share some pictures I've taken last night of the beautiful noctilucent clouds seen from my window. I first noticed them at about half an hour before midnight. The Sun was some 8° below horizon so the sky was still quite bright. I've taken these pics with my DSLR at various exposure times and also made some captures with my oldschool SLR too.

Very nice! I did have a peep out last night myself, but I was about an hour too early by the look of it!

I saw some Noctilucent cloud last night but I dont even realise I did lol.

It was only a single band of cloud not like this though!

Excellent images, looks amazing. Certainly none visible from the South Coast. We were out from 9.30pm - 2am and didn't see anything.

I've been looking out for NCs since late May - nothing yet. I nearly started a thread to ask whether people had spotted any.

Excellent NLC's,was on the going to be on the lookout myself last night,but after a beautiful sunset the clouds rolled in..........the wrong type.
