johnrt
This is an image I've been working on for a little while. Located just a little way from the crescent nebula, and close to the star cluster NGC 6871 is the Tulip Nebula. A busy but often overlooked little patch of sky.Imaged on the 08, 12 & 20th June the image consists of 9 hours total exposure in Ha & OIII. The image was calibrated, combined and processed in PixInsight.Imaging scope & camera - Megrez 72 & Atik 314l+Guiding scope & camera - ST80 & QHY5Mount HEQ5Thank you for looking! The original size image is in my flickr stream (link in sig)John

Telrad
Isabelle, I know you asked John, but, it's located in the constellation Cygnus, about a 2 degrees southwest of NGC6888. Hope you don't mind?

steppenwolf
I know this as a Sharpless object but whatever it is catalogued as, it is a beautiful object nicely captured by John.

The cluster bottom center left of frame is NGC 6871.It's odd how much it does actually look like a tulip!
