M27 - my first attempt at H-a

Hi all,

Sorry, just another M27. My first attampt at H-a imaging, with a hint of colour.

This was the result of 15 x 5 minute exposures with a 7nm Hydrogen-Alpha filter, plus a bit of colour from a very old image taken with my DSLR (tbh, I couldn't be bothered to stay up and get some proper RGB). I would have attempted longer subs, but currently having issues with guiding.

Starlight Xpress MX716 and 250mm f/4.7 Newtonian. I must say I was pretty gobsmacked at the detail in the nebula which the little CCD has managed to pull out.

Thanks, gents. This little CCD is great for smaller DSOs, rather than widefield, so I'll definitely be looking for some more obscure subjects.
