New Canon 60D + Astro SW

Just got my 60D today and looking forward to improving my moon shots etc.

I have trial versions of APT and EOS Backyard and just wondered who has used both and can recommend the best one. Don't want to play with 2 if I can avoid it for now.

I just couldn't get on with APT - only used it twice.

Used backyard for a month & loved it, have now also bought it.

Seriously, use both in anger, first sat in comfort in daylight, and again in the dark and then decide. I like APT better, but that is a personal choice.

I used EOS utility for a while and it worked really well I liked it. Unfortunately there is some fatal error with that now on my PC, so I've had to give APT a go. I hope I like it, so far, I am finding it a little cumbersome, but it's very early days.

I totally rely on APT for my DSLR imaging, superb bit of software and unsurpassed support from Ivo. I don't think I could ask for any other features than it already has!
