  1. +1 , in 6 months (and still convalescent). 😩
  2. Absolutely. Forget the EQ-5 for astrophotography. EQ6 or even AZEQ-6, very appropriate for dual rig.
  3. Good start, Tintinite. Welcome to the community.
  4. Hi and welcome to SGL.
  5. Welcome to SGL, Tevin.
  6. Hi Mikey, I wouldn’t do it (again). Vlaiv pours a very good piece of advise in here:
  7. Hi and welcome to SGL.
  8. I have this one from AE for my 600D. You can search for the LP-E17. Mine works, but I haven’t had yet the opportunity to test it during a session 😢 It fits perfectly, and for the price, I think it worths a try.
  9. Hi Nick, and be welcome to SGL.
  10. Hello Stu and welcome to this well of wisdom.

Hi and welcome to SGL! Be careful, this phase, if becomes chronic, can easily exhaust your bank account 😩
  12. I had a SW 150P and I aligned the tube’s axis with the polar sope’s using 4 bolts the dovetail had.
  13. Yes, they do (35€ - not that much). Second option though.
  14. Never tried with Stellarium, but I use APT to send the coordinates to CdC. If I remember well, you have to configure the same port number both in APT and CdC. However, I think it would be better if you manually re-center your target(s) (and rotate the camera if needed) in your FOV after plate-solving. Edit: nice picture, by the way. Tons of galaxies there.
  15. Anyone knows a way to attach the ZWO EAF to the Skywatcher 200PDS focuser using a belt? Something like the DIY one in the picture. My idea is to use it manually when needed just removing the belt. I could use a 3D printer for the bracket and the pulleys. Would it work?
  16. En realidad español residente en Alemania. No hablo mucho alemán. (Actually, Spanish residing in Germany. Don’t manage German language)
  17. ¡Bienvenido a SGL! Wish you lots of fun!
  18. +1 I sold my 224, along with other gear, and ended buying another one: I consider it has optimal quality/price, speaking of planetary/guiding camms.
  19. This is not the only model with the “sold out” tag around the world. There is a lack of stock in many models of many brands. IMHO: I wouldn’t trust. I’d look for a local dealer (at least in your country) or for a well-known international one.
  20. Welcome to SGL and to this rewarding hobby!
  21. Hi and welcome to SGL! My favorite is Ursa Minor too: beautiful shape and FULL of galaxies.
