  1. So do you like linguistics too? 🙂 I enjoyed a lot reading your message in Scots (was it actually Scots?). Am I right if I suppose you live somewhere in Scotland? 🤔
  2. Indeed. At first I also only did visual with the C100ED-R but now I mostly use it for astrophotography with an Orion 0.8x focal reducer (there is also a 0.6x focal reducer and corrector manufactured by Long Perng but I haven’t tested it yet). Furthermore, I’ve been looking for either the Celestron 80ED or the 80D Onyx for years with no luck.
  3. 😀 Encantat. Per cert, molt txula la teva Web. Christian de Vallirana, també estic a AstroAmics per si hi ets. Al final ens acabarem per conèixer tots. Bon cap de setmana,
  4. Thank you very much for your message in Scots, iapa. It was cool to read it 🙃 Where's Dalèkъ?
  5. Hola, barbulo. Encantado de conocerte. Catalán de nacimiento 😀.
  6. Vielen Dank! Schön, Sie kennenzulernen, barbulo. Ich kann auch Deutsch, aber noch nicht als ob meine Muttersprache wäre. Ich studiere deutsche Philologie 😊 bis bald, Chris
  7. Hi there! Christian from Vallirana, a town near Barcelona, Spain I bought my first achromatic doublet in 2014 on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of Galileo but I didn’t really start in amateur astronomy until 2019. I have been making many good friends and acquaintances since then. At the present time, I own several mounts, telescopes, and other astronomy gear. My main mounts are a Vixen Saturn with OnStep and a Losmandy G11 and my largest aperture telescope an Orion UK VX12 300mm f4. For wide-field astrophotography, I use above all a Celestron 100ED-R reduced to f7.2 and a Dörr Danubia Space & Field 80 f6 made by Vixen for Dörr in the 80s. After taking a look at this site I decided to join the community to keep meeting other hobbyists, and sharing my experiences and knowledge.
