  1. Okey thanks so the price difference isnt worth it in your opinion? It's better to just upgrade my eos 1100s for 50$?
  2. I have an canon eos 1100d that I want to astromod. And I know someone that can do it for me for around 50$. But he asked me if I want to buy an astromodded canon 550d for 160$ instead. What offer should I take? Is the 550d better than 1100d?
  3. Thank you all for all your comments! "👍🏼
  4. I'm also looking at this scope and a ASI120MM-Mini for my first guidesystem... But I'm not sure yet..
  5. Which autoguiding kit is the best bang for the money? I don't want to spend too much for this so what are your thoughts? https://www.firstlightoptics.com/guide-cameras.html And I have seen some people use Altair gpcam2... The price is about the same VS the ZWO asi 120mm,(Altair alittle cheaper) which one should I go for? I have also looked at svbony 60mm scope from aliexpress https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/do37RGlcR Im also planning on doing a dslr filter removal via astronomik service for 95€..But I don't want to do both these upgrades at the same time because of the costs.. So which one should I prioritize? Guiding or ir filter removal?
  6. Great, thanks! Do I need a guidescope for this? I'm currently doing imaging with no guiding so I do relatively short exposures (around 70 sec) but I'm planning on buying a guidescope kit soon
  7. Hmm Okey. I use apt and just began platesolving (yesterday) so what you are saying is that is possible for me?
  8. How do people image the same target multiple nights in a row? How do you target the exact same spot to keep the image the same as the night before?
  9. Thanks, ir filter removal it is! 👌
  10. 2 different answers.. But I trust the one with most posts 😅
  11. Hi I just saw a video on some astro gear and he mentioned that he had longer focal length sense he used a crop sensor camera. So my question is: I use a Canon eos 1100d (crop factor 1,62?) and use a skywatcher evostar 72ed + field flattner, is my focal length 420 * 1,62 = 680 f? Here is the link : 1 min 40 sec
  12. I can send it to you on Wednesday when I'm at home
  13. What's the difference between full spectrum and filter removal? Can I see more nebulosity with full spectrum vs just filter removal?
  14. Hi. Im thinking about modifying my canon eos 1100d. Im not going to do it my self because im to scared.. haha. Im going to use "Astronomisers" service for this. But im alittle confused on what service i need to do.. There is "full spectrum" and "filter removal". The price is the same, 95€ What is the best choice for astrophotography?
  15. Can you add the stars again after all the stretching?
  16. Oh cool,.. I tried to stretch it (levels) but the background became too bright for me..
  17. hi! This is my third image ever, what are your thoughts? the color in the nebula is very low, I tried to enhance it but I couldnt do much.. ISO 1600 Exposure 70 sec lights 70 darks 35 flats 35 bias 35 no guiding
  18. Hmm Okey thanks , i dont know all tips and tricks yet of photoshop...
  19. I use deepskystacker and its possible to look at all images before process. And I shoot in both raw and jpeg. And yea, maybe the moon is the problem.. I will try a different object next time and hopefully i will get better results... But how about the amount of images? Is it possible to take to many Darks, Bias and Flats?
  20. What do you mean? The light frames?
  21. ISO 1600, 60 (or 90) sec exposures. I can post an image on friday when im at my pc😄
  22. Hi 2 days ago I photographed M31. I took around 60 lights, 50 dark, 50 lights and 50 Bias. When i Processed the files in deepskystacker and edited it in photoshop I couldnt really get a good image.. The left side of my image was to bright so I i couldnt really see andromeda details very good... The moon was at 95%. Did the moon ruin the image, or did I take to many flat, Darks, Bias? Is it possible to take too many frames so the image is ruined (flat Darks and bias)? I have heard that Darks are good the more you take And same with Bias? How about Flats?
  23. Hmm whats the best second hand website? (EU)
