  1. Here's my set-up video Hope it helps. Feel free to get in touch if anyone has any questions
  2. I was about the other night at my not so local 2.5hour drive dark sky location testing out the new celestron Starsense Explorer 10 dobsonian. I made a video of the setup process of the app. It's incredibly quick and easy . The scope itself is lovely and one thing I noticed is how fast the image settled down in the eyepiece making focusing efficient. That's for another video 😃
  3. I've made a short video from my night out in the field setting up the Starsense Explorer app. hope it helps. Danski 😊 InShot_20220728_104204833.mp4
  4. What's in the box. Just to be clear that this is In partnership with my local optic shop. Not a paid partnership just a review. Delete if not allowed https://youtu.be/-CEmrrRadNs

  9. Thanks Malcolm, I wish I had more time on it but at the time I was shooting at a spot in Wales a group of happy campers turned up with led lights powered by a generator 😭 I had to drive 40 mins to the other side of Anglesey and by the time I got there Orion was really low.
  10. My mother in law has moved to North Wales recently so access to dark skys if a weekend are back. Been very fortunate to acquire some kit to get me going 😊😊
  11. Due to covid, work, etc my astro game and enthusiasm burnt out. I have managed a few random nights here and there but im now on my way back into the hobby. heres a wide angle M42 from last month Sony A7R IV - Sony 55mm F1.8 Stoppepd down to F2.8 iso 1200
  12. Cheers for that, that first one is what it looked like. We where just packing up on Anglesey as some fog was making anything hard work when I spotted this. Watched it travel till it disappeared. As it got further away the more orb like appearance it took on.
  13. Never seen anything like this. Anyone else see that thing traveling across the entire arc of the sky?
  14. Bit of a late one but if anyone is in the CW9 6AU area Celestron have a stand with some goodies
  15. Thanks Ron im slowly fine tuning my setup, the next step is gather a few hours worth of data this good on this composition. just need that holy grail night now
  16. aye they are pretty good lol. this is still the A7RII dont feel the need to upgrade either. you can get them at a good price 2nd hand now
  17. Those in the north with clear skys you're in for a treat!!!

  18. The Sony's are wonderful to use, i shot canon for a few years and moved to Sony after the lack of features from canon. albeit 42.4MP on a FF sensor is overkill it works really well for my daytime landscape work and its a cracking astro camera.
