  1. No more. They have done well from me. My Tak looks great though, red and white, very St. George, or barber pole.
  2. My 40mm and 34mm Maxviews are great bookends. Are Luminous different from Axiom LX?
  3. Now owning a single (still) 35mm Baader Eudiascopic & a 30mm, I have found only the 35 to have usable eye relief as a glasses wearer. A TV 32mm Plossl is in-between. For 1.25 fit low 20s eye relief eps, in low 20s focal length, the LVW & Pentax XW are good, as are Vixen SLV. (Drop down by a few mm & there are the TV Delos & Delite longest FL eps of 17 & 18 respectively. Nikon 17.5mm NAV-SW has good eye relief as well. The Vixen LVW 22mm is not a heavy eye piece for its FL & 65 AFOV. Noticably lighter than the 17 LVW, & more compact, it's best of that excellent range. Japanese-made optics are returning to specialist exclusivity again, &/or simpler designs. Vixen HR & SSW for high mag specialisation, SLV - buy them all now!. Takahashi are exclusive, including LE range, period. Nikon NAV-HW & SW are narrow in FL choice & astro/spotting scope dual purpose. Pentax XW & XF are spotter eps which (for some FL) are good astro optics too. You can only bend light and correct optically in so many ways that are practical for eyeball viewing & manufacture costs. It's up to accessories & electronics to enhance what lenses deliver now. IS diagonal anyone?
  4. Going by CN; Orion Ultrascopic, Antares Super Plossl, Parks Gold & Baader Eudiascopic all have the same optics 35mm for the pseudo-Masuyama. Celestron should be the easiest to acquire due to brand, in theory.
  5. This is my Vixen LVW collection in a Maplin case.
  6. I get emotionally attached to most of my optics, but have 10 keepers; Vixen 32mm Erfle, 20mm Erfle, TV 35mm Panoptic, Vixen 10mm LV, LVW 13 & 22, TV 32mm & 40 Plossls & Baader Eudiascopic 35mm, Brandon 48mm. Only forever scope is Televue Genesis.
  7. Better to have & keep a few good ones.. Goes for telescopes too! Trouble is deciding what goes when some need to be sold.
  8. Are your Celestron eps Luminos? Pre-owned TV eps are always on the market. And there are now equally good competitors for less money if you want to buy new.
  9. New ep case just delivered by Hermes. Time to tuck up some more of my babies <3
  10. Have you considered a coma corrector? GSO make a reasonably priced one.
  11. Today, probably penultimate eyepiece, a Meade series 4000 40mm Plossl. It has "Japan" engraved at the base of its chrome stem. Usable Eye relief just OK with glasses, but not as good as the Tele Vue 40mm Plossls, which have their eye lens much less recessed.
  12. Takahashi also do a 28mm Erfle. Will you be stocking or able to order that too please? TKA00611. It's a 60 deg AFOV, 5 elements in 3 groups. Has advertised eye relief of 20mm.
  13. Today's nice surprise, a Baader Eudiascopic 30mm. Good but not such long eye relief as a 35mm, which I am looking for.
  14. Need separate one for the Abbes too. Interesting to compare same/similar focal lengths in different models
  15. Awesome eps. There is a 48mm on ebay US at present.
  16. Yesterday a Baader 25mm Symmetrical (possibly TAL made). Today a little TAL 12mm Erfle from ebay & an 8mm Vixen LVW bought from @Saganite - mint condition ¡muchas gracias!
  17. Mr Spock, are you becoming Mr Scott?
  18. Looking forward to the LE range. From a CN thread I understand the 30mm is a pseudo-Masuyama, so might pair with Baader Eudiascopic, Celestron Ultima, Orion Ultrascopic etc at that focal length.
  19. My 12 inch F5 OTA has now arrived. One 5 feet tall box & another smaller one. Many thanks @FLO. Guests tomorrow to Sunday so scope towed in the garage until next week. Low cloud of course, so no rush. Something to look forward to come Monday.
  20. Don't worry. My new big scope due today. And an eyepiece. And something else. And its only Thursday. April forecast written off whole month remaining. Autumn begins in August. Why do we buy so much stuff in the UK?! ? Astrozap scope end covers here, get most use out of those I expect ?
  21. Great zoom ep. Vixen vanquisher, Baader beater.
  22. And here are my Primaluce 95mm tube rings for the Tak FC. Black velvet inner. 5 mounting holes top & bottom so every arrangement usable. Primaluce uses 2 M6 but a third is possible.
