  1. Baader semi-APO 2 inch, big brother to my 1.25. Mainly for the TV Genesis using higher magnifications when 2x Barlowing the 20/22 to 10/11mm.
  2. 3.5mm will be no problem. 5mm & up getting pricier. 30mm may still be around. 17 & 42 seem rarest after the 22 (which I see being advertised in the classifieds).
  3. Mike, I thought you were going for an 8 inch. Did a dob seem too much? As a VX10L F6 attracts me, despite having a F5 10 inch, I can understand the appeal of longer FL/FR. Easier & less critical collimation & use of longer FL eyepieces are the appeal to me. What was your rationale?
  4. Assorted lengths of M8 Allen head bolts today. Have been able to attach the Geoptik clamp to the side Skytee 2 head & have put a counterweight bar in the horizontal axis position. Probably need 25kg for the 120 Equinox mounted including diagonal, eps etc. Top has a little ADM clamp for a little ST80 acting as finder. Bit more Primaluce for the other (100mm scopes) mount and that's it for hardware. SW holes don't align with PL ones ?
  5. Dat's m'boy! ? If you want a 17mm LVW, but can't find one, the 17.5mm Baader Morpheus is a good alternative.
  6. I agree. Tring have an 8mm, don't wait!
  7. Ebay has 3.5, 5 and 8mm somewhere. 17mm is harder to find. 30 is around, some 42 but usually in the US.
  8. The ones I have seen are chrome with a shorter bolt for camera depth sockets. £1 from LCE.
  9. You can buy at photo shops an adaptor to screw over a M10 bolt to reduce to 3/8. Or ebay.
  10. Good eye relief. Best AFOV in 1.25 size. They have an eye distancer for people who don't wear glasses.
  11. Pair of Baader Eudiascopic 35mm eps from FLO who are selling them again. Now I really need a better bino viewer!
  12. No returns is always questionable. I try to cover everything as honestly & as detailed as possible when I sell, so expect the same from vendors looking for my custom. No do, no buy!
  13. Always beware of stock photos. Ask the vendor for WYSIWYG ones before bidding.
  14. The Southern Sky Guide by David Ellyard & Wil Tirion. Only magazine thickness. Thick enough semi-gloss pages. Having read some of it, easy and informative to digest. Great help with orientation and placement. For binocular and small aperture magnitudes.
  15. Camera Web sites are good places to look for fracs themselves I have found. When astro stores are sold out, photo ones still have stock.
  16. Put in a complaint through eBay. The seller should be banned as violating trade description. Also ebay will refund you if the seller does not.
  17. I won't be using them together. The height difference even with clamshell screwed straight onto a bar is too much. And colour clash ? But mounting the Tak on any bar on another mount is now possible.
  18. If nobody bought anything for a month, maybe we would have a month of consecutive clear skies. (Sorry @FLO)
  19. Pair of ADM DVPA-TAK clam ring saddles. Bought from ADM site in the US as I could find no UK ADM seller in the UK who sold them. Only 10 days from purchase to delivery!
  20. Oh Bless! Must be very exciting for her. Can't wait to climb inside I expect Does the OTA fit through a door frame easily? I think the 16 inch would just too. Happy collimating & what a "wow" for your daughter to see stars through!
  21. Looks like a hand held monocular or pocket telescope, noticing the clip. Russian or German made possibly?
