Wondering why I bought a telescope in June?

Yeah, not the best time to do astronomy. My brother just bought a goto scope for his wife's birthday (sneaky joint present really as he wants to use it too!
) a couple of weeks back. I did warn him that the nights don't really get dark enough at this time of year, but they have seen Jupiter and some other DSO's with it after I went round one night to show them how to use it.
However, later on in the year I'm sure you'll get much more use out of it!
