  1. Wondering why I bought a telescope in June?

      Yeah,  not the best time to do astronomy. My brother just bought a goto scope for his wife's birthday (sneaky joint present really as he wants to use it too! ;) ) a couple of weeks back. I did warn him that the nights don't really get dark enough at this time of year, but they have seen Jupiter and some other DSO's with it after I went round one night to show them how to use it.

      However, later on in the year I'm sure you'll get much more use out of it! :)

      I don't really fee like the light night's are holding me back. It's just picking the right objects to look at. M13, the double cluster and M11 all make for good viewing plus it's not freezing cold! I'm sure once it gets darker there'll be lots more to see but I'm enjoying my summer viewing :)
