    I've found that when I re-use superbias or master dark files repeatedly in Pixinsight, those files seem to get corrupted! All works well for perhaps R, G, and Lum, but when I get to B (say), I find, over and over again, that those master files are unreadable by PI on the 4th run-through but not the previous ones! Then I have to re-make the bias, flat, and dark files all over again! What a PITA!

    Anybody else had this problem? Perhaps I'm mistakenly setting some parameter that changes them?

      I've never heard of that before. Have you posted this problem on the Pixinsight forum?

      Do you reuse the masters in the batch preprocessing script? Maybe you could send a screenshot of your settings then.
