Just dont ever look through moonshanes 16" dob, or you will have proper aperture fever

The views through Matt's 12" are stunning. I think the best way to avoid contracting aperture fever is to enjoy the views through your current scope and to look at your wallet accepting the cold hard truth that you simply don't have enough money!

Congrats Ant, long wait finally over.

Cut short actually because my original plan was to save up until my birthday and buy one new. Luckily nightfisher told me about one going for £180 in the classifieds!

I have one. I get £15 a week from it. My pocket money is £15 a month. At my current rate I should have the dob in late November!

Good effort. Best of luck with your saving. Until then, there is plenty to be seen through a 70mm scope.

Yeah, yesterday I saw M27, M13 and M31 all for the first time!

Just think how amazing that first light is going to be. :)
