  1. I've only just noticed how much the small spot today looks like a panda ... 🥰
  2. I hate imaging in the afternoon , too wobbly , too hot ...
  3. Great images ... super detail in there ... But you already posted them on Friday ... !
  4. They say you have to take the rough with the smooth ... but in this game you sometimes have to take the rough with the rougher and cross your fingers ...
  5. Pretty much as yesterday conditions wise ...
  6. A Canon EOS 1000D is what I use for all my Solar Imaging if it's of any help ... I don't own an i-Phone ( or any other type of smartphone) for comparison though ...
  7. You would be better off posting the images in a format that allows us to see them , I'm sure I am not alone in refusing to download unknown files in order to view them. Sorry.
  8. Probably an incorrectly entered 'Time' or 'Time zone' or 'Daylight Saving' information . Were you by any chance about 15 degrees off target ?
  9. Hateful seeing and a sky full of contrails sure takes the fun out of proceedings ... Did catch another interloper though which made me smile ...
  10. Very poor conditions again , glad to have caught something ...
  11. Purely down to being in the right place at the right time , very lucky chap that day ... 😉
  12. My Berlebach Planet came from the Astronomy and Nature Centre when it closed down , cost me a single £50 note and didn't have a box ...
  13. A quick hour hunting in the brief blue bits , seeing usual mid-morning rubbish ...
  14. Might be worth asking Greg Parker , he used to work at Culham Labs ... http://mstecker.com/pages/appparker.htm
  15. After forty years working with my hands , mainly in construction , I would never dare try that finger method , my fingers are far too hard and calloused to put anywhere near a front surface mirror. The chap in the video looks like he's never done anything but tap on a keyboard and wash-up so is probably fine with it ... 🤣
  16. Nice detail , but the Moon set against a beautiful blue sky is one of life's little joys in my world ...
  17. Managed to catch just seven frames through the clouds , and just this one frame showed any detail ... better luck next time eh ...
  18. Astronomy kit is the one thing that I never buy online and have delivered . I always insist on picking kit up in person and checking the contents before departing for home. This way I get to let all the included clouds out of the boxes at the vendors location rather than my own ...
  19. Rush job before the power goes off in five minutes ... decent seeing first thing ...
  20. Conditions much the same as yesterday ... Hoping for a very early slot tomorrow so I can get done and dusted before a preplanned power cut ... 🤞
  21. Bit wibbly-wobbly out there again today , found a few to play with though ... Still no SDO data available so you'll have to make do with my meagre efforts ... 🤣
  22. I stand corrected , you learn somethng new every day ... 🙂
  23. That's more like it , lovely steady disc in the brief blue patch first thing ....
  24. The vitreous humour is the fluid that fills the eye , it cannot become detatched ...
