By far my longest integration and favorite image I've taken. Not sure if this is the best file type though and the best way to upload? IC1848 (Westerhout 5) Soul Nebula in HOO (Red channel- Hydrogen Alpha, Green channel- Oxygen III, Blue channel- Oxygen III) with Ha added as a luminence layer. Westerhout 5 (Sharpless 2-199, LBN 667, Soul Nebula) is an emission nebula located in Cassiopeia. Several small open clusters are embedded in the nebula: CR 34, 632, and 634 (in the head) and IC 1848 (in the body). The object is more commonly called by the cluster designation IC 1848. Distance- 7,500 light years Size- 100 light years across Imaged over 4 night in April, 2020 In Preston. ES ED80 APO Triplet NEQ6 Pro Zwo ASI294 MC Pro STC Duo filter 48 x 300s 49 x 360s Total of just under 9 hours. 200 gain -10c Darks and flats appliedSoulNebula_PS.tif Captured between APT and Zwo ASIair Pro. Stacked in APP, combined and processed in Pixinsight. Final touches in PS.

I use the Huawei M5 lite with 4gb RAM. I presume the 4gb may be for live stacking but not sure.

It was good on this particular day.

2 of the desiccant tablets crumbled as I removed them.

ASI294MC Pro cooled to -10. I've been told it may be freezing up. I'm going to recharge the dessicant tablets.

Hi guys. I have a strange mark on my images and flats. It's like a mottled or spoty thing and seems to be more centre on the upper part of the image. I've attached a master flat which shows it but the flats don't remove it from the images. Any ideas? Cheers.

My scope is 480mm and camera is an ASI294mc.

Hi guys. I have an NEQ6 Pro that is belt modded. I do usually guide but after issues the other day I was imaging without guiding. Polar alignment was good with a Pole master but anything over 30s was trailing. I have a mate with an HEQ5 and manages 90s unguided. Could there be an issue with my mount? Cheers.

I can't think exactly what it says mate. Something about DEC and guide star. I have updated the software. I think it may have changed somehow.

Thanks mate. It's worked fine for the best part of 2 years and last few times has gone to utter crap to the point that guiding isn't possible.

Hi guys. I've been having guiding issues for the last few times I've been out. Every time it says there are issues with DEC. Could this be due to the guide speed being set at 0.1x? Should it be increased? Thanks.
