    Massive school boy error. Come all the way down to Exmoor for the dark skies, setup up the CG5-GT, went to plug in the power and find out I left the power lead at home.

    I might just get back the 12" and exhaust it's potential before joing the 14"/16" club...

      I'm not even close to exhausting the potential of a 10" scope and I've owned one since 1996. A 12" will take a lifetime of observing to exhaust all the potential :) think of the money I've just saved you.
