nmontec
Hi All, this is a new image of mine recently processed. VdB150 is a reflection nebula in the constellation of Cepheus, is located in a region rich of molecular dust clouds; in particular, VdB 150 is a section of the large dark nebula called LDN1235, and it would seem to be connected to the nearby nebula VdB149, in the same field. The star responsible for the lighting of the region is HD 210806, a subgiant star. LDN1235 is probably a so-called red emission nebula, a cloud that is placed at high galactic latitudes that becomes visible through the interstellar radiation field, with a low surface brightness and therefore looking dark if observed in the band of visible light.(Text adapted from Wikipedia) I hope you like it, comments and criticism always welcome! nmontec
Thanks a lot for your appreciation! @kalasinman: My main mount when I image is the Takahashi EM200 Temma 2 PC mount. I do also have a humble Vixen Super Polaris which does a good job anyway, despite its age...

Barry-Wilson
Beautiful image Nicola; difficult to process too I imagine. Lovely balance between the brown molecular cloud and star field.

nmontec
Thank you Callum and Olly, much appreciated.@Callum: you are the second person saying that. I'm wondering if my monitor needs a new colour calibration, but probably not
