Tonights moon

After a computer crash i managed to put together a replacement just in time to save the moon mosaic (well, correction, to redo it all).

Taken at around 2500mm F/12.5 with the QGY5L-IIM with IR-pass filter. A mosaic from 15 sections, and a total of 19065 frames.

gain = 100, exposure = 15ms. 16 bit mode selected.

Thank you thank you. I'm very pleased with it. I just managed to capture the whole thing in the last minute before it enterd the forest. Only 2 min after i was done, i could see half moon, half forest :p

I wish i could get it sharper though, but i guess it might be a lot due to the cheap 2x barlow that came with the skywatcher caprocorn 70?

Thinking about buyng a higher quality 2.5x og 3x barlow, but not sure if the quality would actually improove. I'm asuming even for lunar imaging the 5x would be way too strong for the explorer 200 pds?
