Is this a synscan?

I am toying with the Idea of the HEQ5 upgrade,for my Skywatcher 200, and came across this, it looks for all the world the same as the synscan, but a whole lot cheaper,does anybody have any thoughts?or does the brandname 'Gotostar' mean anything to anyone?

I think the GOTOSTAR is for the EQ5 Mount..If you have the HEQ5 then it's £439.00 which is the standard price...Speak to Aunty Flo...

Which seems good value for money IMO for anyone looking for a medium duty GOTO system. In fact this is the one that I am looking at.

That looks like an interesting upgrade for my super polaris. The alternative is £750 from AWR :shock: Anyone know if it has permanent PEC? Also can the synscan system be used on a Super Polaris???

Couple questions tho, anyone know if the slew speeds are the same as the HEQ5 (eg up tp 800x). And does it come with the snazzy deluxe polar scope with images of Ursa Major and Casioppeia for added ease?

Would love to get my hands on one of those. Up till now I thought I would have to upgrade to HEQ5 or EQ6. Mind you I dont think I can get that past the missus, especially given the time of year!
