its taken a while but finally got to use the ed80

ed80,unmoded canon 350d, just 1 x 30 second unguided exposure.no bias or flats,very little processing other than removing a bit light pollution!

i have to admit i was gob-smacked when i looked at it,i cant wait to have another go!

looks good for a ingle 30 sec pic. Add a few of those in a stack and i think you'll have a very good pic!

Great start. My first DSO was the Orion neb too.. nice surprise ain't it. Just wait till you start doing multiple stacks There's no turning back tho
